This is just a simple blog about myself. The things I like, what I find funny, my fandoms, the artwork and stories that I find extraordinary and hopefully the art that I create and share with the world one day.Totally in love with most anime, doctor who,...
Bog singing ‘Mistreated’, before it suddenly cuts to Marianne singing (adapted lyrics of) ‘Closer’. I thought the lyrics of the songs fit too well together. xD
We all know the amber in Bog’s staff, but has anyone else noticed the design of the setting for the amethyst on the fairy king’s armor?
Looking at it, the cloaked female figure doesn’t look like a fairy (no wings by what I can see) but must be a figure of importance to appear on royal attire, so maybe a deity of some kind? Candidates could be
Áine, or Diana, or quite likely Titania, since the movie itself is based off the play ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.
Now, for the amber, I think it would have been cool if it had some fossilized insect as an inclusion in it.
I looked at it so many times in all the scenes, but for the life of me I can’t tell if there is one or not. I can’t tell through the straps holding the stone in place, and the other side of the straps partially visible through the gem are throwing off whatever else is visible.
Now, for the stone meanings and symbolism:
Amethyst is widely known as the stone of sobriety, intuition, protection, wisdom, meditation, and purification.
Amber is known as the stone of the sun, of abundance, protection, nurturing, healing, accumulated knowledge, and memory.
- at least these are the gist of what I’ve read about the stones themselves.
Some more sketches of my rendition of Marianne before/after the breakup whatnot, im sorry I love haircuts, I wanted to give roland long hair too idk kjdhkjhdfk, and of course Dawn, I love that babby <3
